Shipping & Returns
All orders to the lower 48 continental United States ship free. If you are outside of the continental USA and would like to place an order please contact us at email@example.com.
Once an order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent. This means that The Outdoor Play Store has received the order in the system. Once the order is received, The Outdoor Play Store immediately reaches out to its suppliers to confirm the item ordered is in stock and ready for shipment. If the item ordered is out of stock, on backorder, or otherwise unavailable, The Outdoor Play Store will let the customer know via email. Once the product(s) ordered are ready for shipment, the item(s) will be shipped.
Shipping Time & Method
All orders are shipped within the lead time posted on the product page. This is located at the top of the product page right below the "Add To Cart" button. Most shipments are shipped via FedEx or UPS. We do not ship to APO/FPO or PO BOX addresses.
Depending on the size of the item(s), a freight carrier may be used.
All commercial bounce house orders are delivered curbside via freight shipping. This means that the truck driver stops in front of your home and you unload the cargo at the back of the truck. Residential liftgate service is available for an additional $75, and ensures that a special truck capable of lowering your product to ground level is used to deliver your product. If you don't order a liftgate you will need to be prepared to unload the product from the truck and haul the item(s) into your home. If customer does not order a liftgate, and refuses delivery due to not being able to unload the product, it will result in the customer being charged for return shipping & original free shipping.
If you will not be home at time of delivery, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work to arrange a will-call pick up at your nearest UPS or FedEx location.
An email with tracking info will be sent to the customer within 24 hours of the order being shipped. If you have not received tracking info within 3 days after the lead time posted at the top of the product page, please contact us at email@example.com. Once an order has shipped, cancellation will not be permitted. Please see "Cancellations" below for more info.
Once an order shows as “Delivered” to the shipping address, as a result of the tracking information provided through the freight/shipping company, The Outdoor Play Store is not responsible for any “nonreceivable” situation. No replacement or refund will be given on “Delivered” orders.
Receipt of Products & Damages
An adult must be present upon delivery of products to inspect and sign for goods received. It is very important that you thoroughly inspect the merchandise for any damages that may have occurred during transport. Contact us immediately if your package arrives damaged. A claim will be filed with the carrier, who will pick up and return the package, which must remain in its original box with original packaging. Once the carrier picks up the damaged product, we will work with our suppliers to have a replacement shipped to you.
If a manufacturing defect is found, we will repair or replace it for you contingent upon the manufacturers policy. If repair or replacement in not available, you will receive a full refund.
Returns & Refunds
At The Outdoor Play Store we know that things happen, that's why we're happy to offer our customers our 30-Day No Hassle Returns/Exchange Policy. If a customer needs to return an item for ANY reason, they're able to do so within 30-days, just pay return shipping and restocking fee. It's as simple as that.
Please note: 30-Day No Hassle Returns policy does not apply to commercial bounce houses & inflatables as well as Playsets/Swing Sets. These items are extremely expensive to ship, between $300 to $800. Therefore if a customer needs to return a commercial bounce house or swing set, the customer will be responsible for BOTH return shipping and initial outbound shipping cost originally covered by The Outdoor Play Store as part of the free shipping promotion.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have processed your return and refund (less a 15% or 40% restocking fee*) to your original method of payment.
*Products eligible for return/exchange must be "Like New", unused, undamaged, and must contain all original product packaging and accessories. "Like New" means that the product must not show any signs of wear. If a product is returned with visible signs of wear, or has minor issues due to use, they may still qualify for return for "refurbished use", in which case a 40% restocking fee will be assessed. Items that are returned damage or show significant signs of wear will not be accepted and are ineligible for refund.
Orders can usually be cancelled without penalty if they haven't been shipped yet. Orders are usually shipped within the first 12 hours, up to 24 hours of placing the order. If you'd like to cancel an order please do so immediately to avoid return shipping fees. Orders cancelled after an item has shipped will be treated as a regular 30-day return item and return shipping & restocking fees may apply.
